Saddlebag of Enduris Tan purchased for Silencer because it has partially melted. Originally, Silencer heat guard was attached, but the length was only 12 cm, and in the forest road Saddlebag gradually moved and hit the Silencer. Although I have not yet gone to the forest road after attaching this Guard, it is probably Large enough to cover the entire Silencer, so I think probably Large is durable.
This DAYTONA Silencer Heat Guard is the product that I looking for. Because it can use as Heat Guard and also use to protect exhaust when motorcycle sliders on the side of the bike. My exhaust is Yoshimura R-77. Although this exhaust not circular but it can fit well. View Detail
[How is it used? It's been 9 months since I bought my FZS600, and although I haven't had any standing fender benders yet, I'm taking precautions to prepare for that eventuality. After all, it is a 19-year-old motorcycle, and Silencer is no longer manufactured and out of stock.
Was the one you received as per Image? I thought it would be a bit larger than I expected, but when I tried it on Silencer, it seemed to be a reasonable large size. It is supposed to be used as a heat guard, but I think it is a little too large for that.
Was the installation difficult? Attaching it to Silencer is technically less difficult, but the Stainless Steel Band is too long, so it would be Large strange if you don't have the right tool to cut it. I had a wire cutter (a large nipper), so I could easily cut the band with it. Incidentally, the Silencer of FZS600 has a diameter of 120mm, but the Stainless Steel Band is still 5mm long. I had about 0mm left over.
How was your experience with it? I decided on the mounting position based on where it would be damaged in the event of moss, but I'm not sure if it will work as expected.
[Included Parts:were they on? A complete set of parts necessary for installation is included as shown in the product photo.
[Was there anything that disappointed you? I won't know if it works as well as I hope until I actually mock it up, but I hope it doesn't! (Lol)
Other items that would be helpful Installation point or hang:Tightening the screws of the Stainless Steel Band should be done last; temporarily fasten the Stainless Steel Band and Guard Mount to the Silencer, and then screw the Heat Guard to the Mount. After fixing and positioning the Heat Guard, tighten the screws of the Stainless Steel Band last. If the mounting position of the Stainless Steel Band and Mount is determined first, it will be difficult to position the Heat Guard horizontally.View Detail
I installed it on the YoshimuraExhaust System Up Type which was changed by MONKEY125.
I've replaced the Exhaust System. When stopping:lower your foot and your inner thigh hits Silencer. When driving:When you kneel, your knee grip hits the exhaust pipe. So I was having trouble using it on a daily basis.
YOSHIMURA's Exhaust Pipe Guard cannot guard Silencer part. However, adding the Guard to Silencer is not a good idea because of its cost and appearance.
While I was looking at the Heat Guard of each company, I was wondering what to do. You can slip it on. I realized that this was the case.
As you can see in the resultant photos, it protects my feet when I stop and drive. It's sturdy and sturdy because it's supported at two points by a wide band and doesn't freak out when you tighten your knee grip with your shins.
Moreover, I think that it is functionally superior to other products because the protective Seat to Silencer side is attached as shown in the product photograph.
Just one point. The Silencer portion is approximately φ90-95 [mm] And since it is thin, the included Band was too much for the Large amount to fit. I couldn't cut the Stainless Steel Band to protect the end faces with my handheld tools, so I had to use Separateφ100 [mm] I bought a Band of (extra 3 [cm] (The degree is to the inside of Heat Guard). As the hem of the ride IngPants has melted by the heat of the Exhaust System, purchase as a measure. As ordinary as shown in the photo, but it is not Visual White in the face so I stroked the Carbon Seat like a photo on the table. As the backing as shown in the picture? Put on the AluminumSeal for the kitchen for the purpose of preventing adhesion and peeling of the dirt at the Slit part. The state of the photograph? Which confirmed the positional relation and made this book. I am satisfied because the appearance is getting better and the function is also good.View Detail
I bought a hole in Waterproof Bag and I purchased it surely that I will not physically touch it rather than struggling to suspend Bag. I felt like I installed a suitable iron plate purchased at Home center from color and shape, so I painted it with Black's heat resistant paint. Because of the test, it was high speed, we felt that it was getting warmer in the place I touched after I ran about 30 minutes on one way along the way down, there was never a hole to open. It may be different when running for a few hours, but for the moment I feel that it seems likely that it will not become too nervous to touch the exhaust system of Side bag. Installation is troublesome. It is good to preliminarily loosen the Heat Guard and the mounting band temporarily and attach them to the Exhaust System and align the protection seats and the Band while tightening the Band.View Detail

I burned my pants with HUSQVARNA exhaust pipe, so I bought it and used it as an exhaust pipe. I did. It's not very Italian, but it's safe and matchless. I think it can be installed on other vehicles without any problems.View Detail
It attached to the Exhaust pipe by preventing melting of Bike Cover. Band seems to hurt Exhaust pipe We have installed a Heat Insulating Material. Heat that gets in the Guard was to the touch with the hand. I think that using Heat Insulating Material is more effective. View Detail
?attachment The CBR650R is mounted at the same position angle as the NORMAL. However, when the handlebar was cut to the Left lock, it interfered with the interior cover next to the Meter, so the interior cover was cut away. I also purchased a 45° angled banjo adapter for the mesh hose to accommodate the tension of the mesh hose. ・NORMAL (Reserve integrated horizontal master) Impressions of No complaints on public roads. Familiar feel and very easy to handle. However, when the brake is set to "hard brake," the rate of increase in braking force relative to the input seems to decrease, and the brake becomes more forceful. Radipon (Reserve separate body portrait master) Impressions of It was totally different from what I expected, my expectation was that it would feel like a Rear brake… It is really a mild and easy-to-handle radipon. On public roads, it feels like NORMAL! I wonder if it's because NORMAL is the same NISSIN? But I felt the radipon effect from Breaking a little stronger, and It can be hung up to a hard brake without effort. I felt trust that this could stop.View Detail
