Purchased as a replacement for the Z-7.
Because I have used SHOEIMODEL from before, it is SHOEI this time, too.
When I was measured by TechnicalShop, my size is M, which is closer to S. (S closer to M?)
It is said that it is just right to add Pad with M or to make Pad thin with S.
I prefer a tighter fit, so I chose S.
It still felt loose, so I had more adjustment pads added from there.
Still, the Cheek Pad is loose.
My guess is that the Sponge is thicker or softer than the Z-7.
The Ratchet TypeStrap was also a factor in the looseness, so we sent it to the manufacturer and changed it to a regular D Ring (for a fee).
Thanks to the built-in Inner Visor, it is not dazzling even on a day with strong sunlight, and it is very convenient because it can be raised immediately when entering Tunneletc.
However, as the Inner Visor is stowed, the top of the head sticks out and this hinders the upward vision.
It is not a problem in normal riding posture, but when you lean forward like a Large, this becomes a concern.
(It's only a concern.)
There is Income built-in Space, but I bought Attachment separately because I use B+COM.
At some point, I want to buy a dedicated device and have it refreshing.
I usually use J−Force4, but I was wondering if the quietness of full face is easier when touring.
I chose the GT-Air2, which is similar in concept to SHOEIHelmet's XR-1100, which I liked Large in the past.
I really don't want to buy a Helmet until I wear it and check the Fit feeling.
I'm sorry, but it was not available at WeBike!
I actually had to wear the Helmet and make a few adjustments before I could purchase it.
(Only the Cheek pad was replaced with a 31mm pad, 1 Size looser than the standard pad, the pad was cut for Glasses to secure the slit, and a thin pad was added to the forehead area)
Wind Cutting sound is quieter than Jet type J−Force4 and has the same bass noise transmission as J−Force4.
It was not deafening and, as expected, seemed less tiring during long-distance Touring.
As for the fit, it was excellent, partly because I adjusted it to fit my head, and when I was using KABUTOHelmet
I'm also happy that the Lift up that plagued me (now that it's not hefty) doesn't occur.
While installing Chin curtains makes the car even quieter, the Glasses fog up when waiting at traffic lights, especially in the wintertime.
When I start running, the fogging is removed, but I feel quite uneasy because of an event that never occurred in J−Force 4, probably because it was an Open Face event.
Inner Visor is a delight. It is easy in Touring because it does not tire my eyes very much.
Personally, I am very displeased with the Income relationship with SENA and ThailandUp, because it is a Spec. that ignores the User.
I think that is the only part of the Helmet that is Neck.
It is so unpleasant that I want to make the designer and other people involved in SHOEIHelmet sit on their hands and question them for Small one hour.View Detail
The size of my head is 55cm, but I was using M Size because I didn't want it to be too tight, but I still felt it was too loose, so I decided to go for the Just Size S Size this time. Level is not a problem because it is a Hold feeling, and I feel that it is just right when I think about the wear and tear of the Sponge due to use.
The Pad of the part that hits the forehead is rather Large, although the part that hits the head of the interior is also good, and I feel that summer seems to be hot.
Because of the firm Hold in the interior, the weight when wearing it is not bothered.
As for the wind cutting sound while driving, I think that the X-8 SP-3 that I have been using was less noise.
The slide controls for the chin and upper air duct have been enlarged, making them much easier to operate.
The opening is also large, and the view is enough even if it is 1100KATANA of the lighting position which is rather hard to lean forward.
Sun visor that was the most decisive factor in the purchase of this time is a rather dark color and shade of sunglasses, and it seems to be good for strong sunlight and backlight.
The Slide switch on the side of the Left Side Visor can be used to easily insert and remove the slide, but I felt that it would take some getting used to in order to get a feel for the position and remember the direction of the slide.
It's a new Gimmick and I enjoy taking it out and putting it back in while driving.
I really like it because it has a cool exterior.View Detail
