Genuine Kawasaki Cylinder Head Gasket for KX100 2012

So, sooner or later pistons do fail and this was the case with this little bike. Well, the piston probably did not fail but the piston rings caused this damage for sure. The piston was damaged on one cylinder so I also purchased this new set of rings. The part was not hard to find and I used the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Kawasaki schematics. This piston ring set was really good value and better in price than my local Kawasaki dealer could beat. I had a few parts for this rebuild to ship so got them all together. I used EMS and all arrived in perfect condition in 7 days from shipping. The piston ring set arrived in their own little Kawasaki packet and were in tact and as I expected. There is no burns no marks or shards of metal inside the packet and they were basically just ready for reassembly for the big job in hand. The quality of the rings were exceptional, as I would expect direct from Kawasaki. The fitting was not hard, it is the rest of the rebuild that was a pain to do. Got it done pretty easily and was happy with the return of good compression to that cylinder. Now the bike runs a lot better. This was a friends child's bike that needed a good overhaul, especially the cylinder head due to loss of compression. You could probably get it re-honed but that would be more expensive than buying a whole new cylinder head anyway. I found the right cylinder head by using Kawasaki schematics for this model and year of bike. Not too tricky. The searching Webike website to see if they could get stock or already have it. Luckily, this cylinder head does fit a few years of the same model so is available. The price from Webike was excellent and a fraction of what a re-hone would cost. It was shipped suing EMS and had a few other small parts including the cylinder head gasket as I do like to change all together. After arriving in the UK, it was delivered promptly and eventually arrived with me at my door in 7 days. This cylinder head was very well packaged. No damage at all due the amount of padding Webike added. The cylinder head is a really well machined part and there was no excess swarf or shards of metal in or around the cylinder head. This was a top quality Kawasaki part and it needs to be for what job it has. Fitting it relatively easy as long as you take your time. Very pleased with how much compression this little bike now has. This of course was the another part of the rebuild of the Ninja 400R 2011. This time the order was for the cylinder base gasket as there are quite a few different gaskets for this. As before, I used the tools Webike provide on their help pages and then for my own peace of mind, I cross referenced with Kawasaki schematics to make sure. The price of the gaskets from Webike were great value and even if I could find them locally, they would have cost a lot more. Especially that you need to double up the amount of gaskets anyway. EMS is my favourite courier right now as they just get your orders delivered fast. In 5 days my gaskets arrived. All very well packaged and kept nice and flat. The gaskets themselves are really well made and you can see that time and attention were done when manufacturing them. Precisely measured and the dimensions were spot on. One of the hanger pins on this bike was problematic and the cause was that someone had cross threaded it when they were doing some kind of maintenance. There was no simple and easy fix apart from just buying a new one. Simple as that. Finding the right pin was straight forward by checking Honda schematics. The schematics showed the right one and this was then searched for on Webike. Webike price was far better than I could source from my local Honda dealer. You do need 2 of these and even though one was perfectly ok, I decided to just buy 2 at this price. With a few other small parts, I had the entire order shipped using EMS. In just 7 days from being shipped, my order arrived. The pin hangers arrived in a the usual Honda packaging but also inside a bubble wrap envelope that Webike had provided. This meant the threaded sections would no get any damage during transit. The pin hangers a re very well machined and look to be top quality from Honda. The dimensions are the exact same as the one that is pretty good condition. The threaded sections are smooth and clean from any debris. Fitting is just a simple bolt in. This was the oil seals for the front wheel the YZF-R3 ABS 2020 which also needed new front wheel bearings and spacer bearing. I do always replace the oil seals when it comes to any bearings where possible for my own peace of mind. It just makes sense to do this. Finding the right oil seal was easy as I already had the schematic open for the front wheel bearings anyway. The price for the new seals was great value. At this price is was silly not to get them. With the other parts needed for this replacement, I had all the order shipped using EMS which are my chosen and trusted courier. My order arrived in 100% perfect condition in 7 days from being shipped. The oil seals came in the standard Yamaha packets and were also inside a nicely made bubble wrap envelope by Webike warehouse to keep them safe. The oil seals are pretty rigid if I am honest but that is not a bad thing. They are top quality oil seals which you expect from such a well respected manufacturer like Yamaha. The second of the replacement brackets for the YZF-R1 2020. The original one was not too bad but as I was replacing all the other brackets for the fairing, I wanted to make sure there was no issues with fitting. Not a big deal but I did want to replace it for one that will hold the fairing well. Finding the right part was easy using the tools Webike provide and cross referencing with Yamaha schematics. The cost was very good value and less than half the cost of buying locally. With some other parts for the R1, I had EMS ship them all together so I would get them all at the same time. In 7 days the order arrived and the parts were perfectly wrapped and kept safe. The bracket itself is aluminium but that does not mean it is not strong, I could barely flex it at all which is good. The bends are all correct and align with the fairing and the engine side. Simple to fit but worth the effort knowing the fairing will stay where it is supposed to . The water pump had been broken on this YFZ-R6 and needed to be replaced. There were options for aftermarket ones but for the price Webike had, why would you go for anything else. The part was not hard to find as I use Yamaha schematics to track down the correct part number. Webike did have 2 in stock and ready to ship out the next day. I chose EMS and the order was delivered to my door in 7 days from being shipped. The water pump was packaged really well by Webike and there was no damage sustained. The pump itself is a very well cast part, the mount points are perfect, even the inside of the cover is perfect. There were no shards or extra flecks of metal to be seen. Yamaha really do take good care of products when they are removed from the casts. I already purchased a new water pump gasket from Webike at the same time. This made the entire job easier and quicker to do. No pint in only having the new water pump if you do not have a gasket to fit. The quality of this water pump is excellent, I honestly could not ask for any better. The installation along with the gasket took a little over an hour.
