About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the front sprocket from Kitaco. The 16 tooth 420 pitch front sprocket is manufactured from high carbon steel with lightning holes.About the feeling of use: The main reason I removed the OEM Honda front sprocket was to increase the size of the front sprocket to help lower the RPM of the 181cc BBK when crusing at high speed and as a bonus of the lighter weight helps with performance.Products to buy together: A larger sprocket guard plate would also be desirable to purchase alongside the front sprocket for additional clearance when using a larger front sprocket.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 15 minutes. Remove the sprocket cover and back off the chain tension. Remove the two bolts that hold the locking plate and then remove the sprocket. Install the new sprocket, secure the locking plate and make a chain adjustment. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a front sprocket made from a durable material and designed with the best performance in mind at a great price as compared to the basic styled front sprockets from the other bands and non as cheap in the 16 tooth size.About shipping and packaging: Sea frieght was my preferred method of shipping due to the lower cost but currently this service is unavailable from Japan Post, EMS is much faster which is nice. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the Kitaco clutch cover kit, made from cast aluminium with perfectly machined surfaces and finished in a silver paint specific for the Monkey. About the feeling of use: Would have to be the most practical upgrade I have fitted to the Monkey, no need to use the silly dip stick to check your oil level anymore and no need to go through the hassle of removing the entire right crankcase cover for an oil and filter service anymore either. Products to buy together: I think a Kitaco oil cooler would also be desirable to purchase along side the clutch cover kit since you now have the facility to connect one up easily with the oil ports now being available on this Kitaco clutch cover, this addition will keep your engine cooler in those hot summer months. Difficulty of installation: The process to install took me a couple of hours, the steps are easy to follow but I did not have the correctly tooling at the time to hold the oil spinner or for removing the nut which made it very difficult to do, I probably should have bought those at the same time to make the installation easier. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a clutch cover with so many useful features as compared to Honda clutch cover and at a much better price then all the different clutch cover options from Takegawa. The material used is aluminium with the black surface being anodized and the silver surface being a raw finish. About the feeling of use: I find these spools a useful addition when working on the Monkey 125 from cleaning and lubricating the chain to stabilizing the rear end to allow the front end to be lifted to remove the front wheel. Products to buy together: Some lifting hooks for your rear servicing stand would also be desirable to purchase alongside the suspension spools. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 10 minutes. Remove the OEM Honda rear shock nut and install and torque down the silver part of the spool and then install align and tighten the black part with the included fastener. Repeat the process for the other side. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing but you are getting quality materials and finishes with this product at a higher price as compared to the stainless steel option available on Webike and the even cheaper quality option available elsewhere. Complete kit that includes a steel radial ball bearing, machined aluminium bearing hold plate and shaft nut. About the feeling of use: Very happy with the feeling of relief this product has given me since I have increased the power output of the engine. The design is spot on and the fit and finsh couldn't be any better. Products to buy together: A stronger crankshaft from SP Takegawa or Kitaco would also be desirable to purchase alongside the crankshaft support adapter for the ultimate crankshaft setup. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour. Remove the left crankcase cover, flywheel nut and 3 bolts retaining the stator. Lubricant the ball bearing, push into the left crankcase cover and install the bearing hold plate. Install the shaft nut with a torque value of 64 N m and use the new included gasket for the left crankcase cover. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting a well designed product that could save you from also having to install a strengthened crankshaft depending on the horsepower your Grom is making and from what I can see the only other company offering a similar product is inferior to this design from SP Takegawa. About the feeling of use: This sure is one part that offers a lot of features and for me the primary reason for purchasing it was to have the ability to filter the oil well for my 181cc big bore kit. This clutch cover just looks sensational on the Grom too. Products to buy together: An oil cooler kit from SP Takegawa specific for the Grom would also be desirable to purchase alongside the special clutch cover kit as it will be an easy install with the correct fittings and mounts needed. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour. Release the right rearset and remove the OEM Honda clutch cover and oil spinner. You can then start installing the SP Takegawa internal engine parts and fit the special clutch cover. The clutch cable also needs to be replaced and adjusted to complete the installation. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting an extremely high quality product that comes with everything you need but at a higher price when compared to the clutch cover available from Kitaco. About the feeling of use: Looks the part on the minimoto and performs well considering some of the air flow is restricted due to the positioning behind the front wheel. Products to buy together: A clutch cover with oil ports would also be desirable to purchase alongside the slim line compact oil cooler kit if you are still 125cc or the big bore kit you have installed does not have oil ports to allow a connection of an oil cooler. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about 30 mminutes. Secure the oil cooler to its mounting bracket and fill the cooling core with engine oil. Now you can connect the oil lines and run the engine to ensure zero oil leaks. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting one heavy duty oil cooler with a guard for a reasonable price that will last a long time as compared to to the cheaper flimsy oil cooler that do not have a guard to protect them from rocks.
