This MT125 came in for a service which included air filter, oil filter and oil change. I decided to go for the K&N filter over the OEM one because you also have the ability to wash, re-oil and re-use these filters. I have never found them to be anything less than the quality of the standard OEM filters and do not have any less performance. As I said, these are reusable if you do it all correctly. This is replacing the OEM Yamaha one which came on the bike when the customer dropped it off. By the looks of it, it has not been changed for a while. I despair how some people manage to run bikes without the slightest notion of maintenance. Finding the correct filter for this bike was easy too, I checked on Webike website and this showed the models that fit each filter. Really easy. I had other items in my order and this then cut down the shipping over the entire order. I use EMS fast service which arrived at my door in 5 days. All the items were packaged really well and bubble wrap and air pockets were used to fill any space in the box. Webike even tape the outer box on all sides so nothing can get in or out. The filter arrived in perfect condition and did come pre-oiled which is also nice so you do not have to mess around the first time. Fitted in about half an hour total. The final result was perfect. The KN-177 K&N oil filter for the Buell XB12Ss with it's hex nut makes oil filter changes that much easier, this is the best feature about this oil filter which removes the need for using a strap wrench when it comes time to remove it at your scheduled oil service. Stated as a high flow oil filter which is also good and if you feel the need or require it for race regulations it also comes ready to be safetied with lock wire.
