About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the cast aluminium oil pump housing and the steel oil pump rotor and have come to expect nothing less from Kitaco.About the feeling of use: With the increased thickness of the oil pump rotor from 10mm to 12.5mm you are gaining a 25% increase in oil circulation which is required for when it comes time for my next addition for the Grom.Products to buy together: An oil cooler kit from Kitaco would also be desirable to purchase along side the super oil pump kit but sadly Webike are not yet stocking the Kitaco oil cooler kits for the JC92 model Honda Grom, hopefully in the near future.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about an one and a half hours, remove the right crankcase cover for access and the three bolts that secure the oil pump. Transfering the backing plate, drive gear and dowel pins over to the Kitaco oil pump is needed before installing and then reassembly can be carried out. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing for a well designed product as you are re-using some of the parts from the Honda oil pump which keeps the cost of manufacturing the new oil pump down. To my knowledge there is currently no other manufacturer offering a higher flow oil pump for the JC92 Grom so Kitaco has the market covered for this product fight now.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. It has been a year since JC92 was launched and it is finally available. It is an essential item for vehicles that have increased heat generation due to engine customization, or vehicles with oil cooler installed that are overloading the lubrication line. Above all, it provides a sense of security. (Lol) The increased oil flow rate is assumed to increase the cooling effect as a merit, and decrease power down and durability as a demerit. We will conduct a proper running test in the future, but for now, we did not see any tendency of deterioration that would cause power down from OEM pumps when we ran around the neighborhood. I thought it was durable enough to use as it is.
When I saw the photos of the PLOTType, I had a feeling that the casting was a bit of a chore, but the product that arrived is well built and looks a bit better quality than the OEMPump. I was relieved. (Lol)
Installation is very simple I think the most difficult part was removing the bolt (M5) that fixes the Cover. It is tightened by the demon Torque of an auntie in Thailand. (Lol) It's easy if you have Impact Driver. Also, be careful not to drop the Knock Pin or O-ring into the crankcase when removing the OEM oil pump and installing said pump. Other than that, I think even beginners will be able to make a Large sturdy product if they work according to the Instruction Manual.View Detail

About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the super oil pump from Kitaco, the housing is cast from aluminium and the larger oil pump rotor from steel. About the feeling of use: A necessary part to upgrade if you are adding an oil cooler to keep your higher performance engine in check. I would have preferred if the Kitaco oil pump came complete like the SP Takegawa version but as I wanted the highest oil flow increase the Kitaco oil pump was still the better option for me. My Photo compares oil pump rotor housing size difference between the Kitaco on the left and the Honda on the right.Products to buy together: A replacement right crankcase gasket would also be desirable to purchase along side the super oil pump for assembly of the clutch cover. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about an hour, removal of the clutch cover for access is needed and then remove the two bolts holding the Honda oil pump in place. Once the Honda oil pump is removed you then need to disassemble it to re-use the drive gear and lock pin. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are getting the best performing oil pump due to the highest oil flow increase and at the cheaper price when compared to the version from SP Takegawa due to having to re-use parts from the Honda oil pump.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. * About quality and texture, The finish of the oil pump from Kitaco is much nicer then the Honda OEM one and it comes well packaged.* About the feeling of use, There was no real need for me to install a higher flow oil pump as this Grom as it is still 125cc with no oil cooler but for the small cost while installing the Kitaco clutch cover it seemed like a good idea to while I was in there.* Products to buy together, * Difficulty of installation, The actual installation of the oil pump once you have the access is just 3 bolts to remove, transfer over the Honda OEM gear and lock pin, then prime oil through the oil pump and bolt it on. The process was completed in 15 minutes with no difficultly.* Cost performance and comparison with other products, The Kitaco oil pump is priced well but you do need to transfer a few parts over from the Honda OEM one. If you don't like the idea of transfering over parts the you can pay more for a complete ready to fit oil pump from SP Takegawa.* About shipping and packaging, I am happy to wait 6 weeks on average for my parts to arrive in Sydney Australia via Webike's sea freight which comes with tracking and insurance so I know I'm covered in case something was to go wrong but with there outstanding bubble wrapping and boxing there have been no problems.* Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing, You can also purchase new the Honda OEM gear and lock pin here on Webike. About the feeling of use: Super lightweight compared to the Honda exhaust which results in a good weight saving. This muffler design is on a larger proportion for the Grom but it manages to create a big bike sound from the little 125cc motor. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase along side this full exhaust system, I will be going with an open air intake from Kitaco. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about one hour to complete. A new gasket for the forward mounting flange is recommended. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as you are receiving a well designed and manufactured product using quality materials that will help increase performance but there are also other options for much less cost, so browse Webike available exhausts if you have a lower exhaust budget. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the pulley holder from Kitaco made from a steel construction with a PVC coating over the band to help improve it's hold.About the feeling of use: I have used this tool to hold the clutch and flywheel on my Honda Grom when removal of these parts were required for maintenance with great success. The adjustable band makes this tool very versatile for varies sized motorcycle parts.Products to buy together: Some more tooling like a center lock nut wrench would also be desirable to purchase along side the pulley holder so when it comes time to remove the clutch assembly and oil spinner on your Honda Grom you have all the special tooling required to complete the job.Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes a few minutes, place the pulley holder around the part that needs to be held and adjust the band if required. Tighten down the T handle so that the band holder does not allow the part to spin as you undo the fastener securing the part. Not difficult to do.Cost performance and comparison with other products: Good costing as this is a quality made band holder from Kitaco that has with stood numerous usage without failure as compared to the first band hold that I purchased from another site that failed soon after.About shipping and packaging: The faster shipping options are too expensive for myself so I just have to wait for my part to arrive via sea freight. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the titanium exhaust from Over Racing. The muffler is quite compact with a removable baffle inside and made from titanium, while the exhaust piping is very large in diameter at the exhaust port end and just continues to expand all the way up to the muffler connection and is also made from titanium. About the feeling of use: The titanium exhaust is an aggressive looking exhaust on the Grom but the exhaust note is very enjoyable to hear at idle and through the entire RPM range due to the baffling within the short muffler. Products to buy together: Some form of higher flow air filter would also be desirable to purchase alongside this titanium exhaust to help achieve maximum performance. Difficulty of installation: The process to install took about one hour, I was removing an aftermarket exhaust which was very simple as it was just the two nuts at the front and one bolt at the back but the exhaust port gasket was very difficult to remove. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing but you are getting a full titanium exhaust system with features to help obtain high performance at a high price as compared to the much cheaper stainless steel version available from Over Racing. About quality and texture: I am happy with the quality of the sports camshaft from SP Takegawa, wonderful machining throughout and great quality bearings fitted. About the feeling of use: I was looking for a camshaft to make the 125cc engine higher revving which it has and I'm really happy with how it performs on the open road with no real loss of power in the lower RPMs which is ideal for around town. Products to buy together: Some type of fuel controller is needed to be purchase along side the sports camshaft, the SP Takegawa FICON 2 is well suited to this type of performance modification. Difficulty of installation: The process to install takes about half an hour, was an easy job to complete after reading through the Honda service manual directions. Not difficult to do. Cost performance and comparison with other products: High costing, the cheapest high RPM camshaft available here on Webike is the Endurance hi-power camshaft but does not look to have a power curve anywhere near as good.
