When I replaced the OEM carburetor with the KEIHINCRSPECIAL Knife I installed it instead of the OEM Air cleaner
I wasn't sure if I should ride as Funnel or put a Filter on it, but the activity Area is a lot of wind I decided to put it on because it's an area
K&N is a manufacturer with a proven track record, so you can rest assured that you're in good hands I like the fact that it can be used repeatedly with proper maintenance

It seems that adjustment is done, but at that time (Around the 80's ReplicaBoom) Because I'm crazy about running, I've got a gray dirty Power Filter
It seems that there are a lot of people using it without cleaning, because it runs for a long time every day for many hours, Oil may dry out soon,
Some of them apparently kept on, nobody with no maintenance was scarce, and I thought that the K & NPower Filter would not know that it could be washed with water.


Exhaust System exchange, which can be said as the first step of Tune, runs almost without Carburetor's adjustment, appearance and sound are both Parenthesis and satisfaction is high,
When changing from Air Cleaner Box to Power Filter, it is necessary to adjust the carburetor though it depends on the model and Engine Displacement Volume,
Although it tends to think that there is no mistake in power up, in some cases it will also run a deep Torque valley and power down, and sometimes it will be impossible to run properly,
Engine-centered, Carburetor ? If you correctly adjust the Exhaust System, even with OEM vacuum pressure carburetor,
I can see the difference at the moment we start running, the difference will become more obvious as I turn it, I wrote it so badly but because I am not good at carburetor adjustment, so it's exclusively Motorcycle shop

K & NPower Filter is an excellent item that efficiently removes dust and dust in the air, although it was written at the beginning, it can also be reused by washing with water,
I think that the frequency of washing is different for each person, but I occasionally run through the pass at the Touring Main occasionally, I do not use it for commuting etc. In an environment called dormancy due to snow in winter,
I aim to wash once a year ? ? ?
Actually washing in the water once in a few years, usually it is about to refuel if Filter becomes White, say 3000 to 5000 kilometers in actual mileage / Every
I think that washing with water is ideal, but it is actually more than that.

Actually my washing Maintenance method,
First of all, let's drop the luggage and pride lightly so as not to hurt the surface, then spray K & N detergent on the surface and leave it dirty for 10 to 20 minutes,
Rinse the detergent with Chorochoro ranked tap water, in that case, water is hung from inside to outside of the Filter so that it is opposite to the flow of air,
When it gets beautiful, lightly drizzle with Dustcloth etc. and let it dry naturally, Do not shake it strongly and do not blow off moisture with Air etc, it is natural drying only,

Once completely dry (I will leave a few days) I will paint K & N's Filter oil carefully on 1 pc 1 pc of folds, Oil will soak in naturally
I think that you do not have to paint too much, as the whole is saying Red or it stains unevenly in Pink color, it is completed by attaching to Carburetor.
Although it is a method as instructed by K & N, it is a difficulty to take time to dry, I think that there is no problem if there is SeasonOff in winter like my area,
Those who can ride Motorcycle all year round already have Quantity : If you have 1 Set, it may be good to be able to rotate,


For installation, we choose what matches the size of carburetor, but if you choose according to the model, it will be possible to install without problem, Air Cleaner Box
There are work to remove, etc, I think that it is not so difficult, the problem is the processing of Blowby gas, originally inside the Air Cleaner Box
It is a mechanism to discharge and burn it again, but since it can not be done by converting it to Power Filter, I think that many people have installed Oil catch tank,
There seems to be some people opening the Large mood, but this is a problem from the viewpoint of the environmental load in the current era and does not go through the vehicle inspection in the case of Motorcycle that requires a vehicle inspection,
Attached work may be more difficult than attaching the Air Filter itself, such as installation place of Oil catch tank and handling of Hose.

I think that it can be used for a long time with good condition because it can be reused by rinsing, by the way I have never seen what the lifetime of K & NPower Filter has come
Of course, in the no maintenance, oil and sand are different things, but if you maintain regularly with regular use it will not last much longer,
So I think cost benefit is very good.

It's hard to understand the Lineup

I bought a PMC Smooth STREAM air filter the other day
It was interfering with the Frame a little bit, so I tried to dodge it completely

The Lineup is so complex that it's hard to know which one to choose!
