Tricolor Spec mit flachem Lenker: CBR1000R Custom

 7 min read

NO LIMIT JAPAN's CBR1000RR

The bike is in bright Honda TRI-COLOR and is based on the CBR1000RR (SC57). Not only is the exterior color carefully detailed, including the blue stripe around the headlight, but the front fork outer tube and seat leather are tailored in red. Its front and rear wheels are also metallic gold, and the coloring follows that of the CB1100R, the former flagship of the air-cooled CB series (here we refer to the RC / RD), even if the parts and shape are different. Covers on either side of the engine, which used to be in gold on the stock CB1100R, are additionally equipped with sliders. With such elements, the more people know about the CB1100R, the more they will be attracted to it.

The wheels were powder coated, which look like the anodized finish of the CB1100R stock wheels, so they can be used as replacements for air-cooled 1100R. The engine sliders are chrome-plated. Another feature of the SC57 is its handlebar. It fits neatly in an outstretched hand. By precisely adjusting the most important position for riding, not to mention the coloring, this CBR became all-round model remaining a style of the legend at the same time.

Bodyworks

CB1100R has blue lines on the outside of each headlight. And of course, this work has the same ones, but they are arranged to run between the two lights. HIGHSIDER's ultra-small blinkers are installed above the switch box in the front and on either side of the tail cowl in the rear. For headlights, ring-shaped ones have been selected, and windshield has been cut to some extent.

The color pattern and lines of the CB1100R are beautifully arranged on the SC57, with candy in each color and ice pearl in the white.

The original black seats has been reupholstered in a red color similar to the CB1100R stock seats. These details creates CB1100R style.

Handle

The top bridge is SC57, and a bracket has been added to convert it into a flat-type handlebar for a more flexible feel. The front master cylinder and clutch master are both made by Gale Speed.

Chassis

The pulsar / generator cover, which is finished in gold on the CB1100R, is represented in this SC57 by an engine slider made by Agras and painted in gold plating on the CB's. The 999cc four-cylinder engine itself and the aluminum twin-spar frame both remain to be stock.

The sliders that look like a gold generator cover are also plated. The "1000RR" decal on the undercowl inherits the design of CB1100R logo.

The suspension is based on the stock SC57, but the brake lines are stainless steel mesh. The front forks have red outer tubes, and the front brake calipers have been also plated and painted red. There are also small golden bolts which work as an accent-color in this part.

The 3.50-17/6.00-17 size wheels are stock SC57s, and both front and rear are powder-coated gold, again creating a CB1100R image. It should also be noted that it can be used to refresh the stock paint job on the air-cooled CB1100R. The rear shocks are Nitron's products.

Intake & Exhaust

The center-up titanium exhaust system is one-off made, with additional work done by Stella.
